"When I started running, I was pretty average – average height and weight, average speed, average time to dedicate to running. If I was so average, why would I need a coach? Coaches are for elites and marathoners. I was neither – just a person attempting to work on her half-marathon time.
What I didn’t know is a coach isn’t just a coach. A coach is a cheerleader, motivator, therapist, an honest opinion. Coach Megan was all of that and more: a true friend. She saw potential in me that I didn’t see in myself. She set what I thought was an unrealistic goal for my half-marathon time, and showed me I could do it. My last training run before my goal race, I hit all my paces (and it wasn’t even race day yet)! I credit Coach Megan completely with shaving off about 30 minutes from my half-marathon time. If you’re ready to finally feel prepared for race day, then start running with Megan."
"I’ve been running on and off for the last nine years. For eight of those years, I was neither consistent nor disciplined. I would get on and off the running bandwagon. After every race, I promised myself that “I would do better next time” and follow a training plan. I always struggled. That is one of the causes of my previous love/hate relationship with running.
Working with Megan has been one of the most transformative experiences of my life. Megan is a kind and firm coach. Week after week she has customized my running plan while teaching me about the pre- and post-work that goes into running. It’s not just about putting in the miles, hydrating, and fueling the right way (although she will emphasize that is very important and make sure that you do it!). It’s also about listening to your body. Megan encouraged me to rest when I’ve needed, pushed me to work harder when I’m taking it easy, and celebrated with me at the finish line (I am serious!). In the first three months of training, I have seen a radical difference in my running—both in my times and in my attitude toward the sport. Megan is an amazing coach and will put as much into your running journey as you are willing to put in."
"Hi Coach, I don't know if you'll get this anytime soon as we've had no wifi or reception here since earlier today but I just wanted to tell you that I am feeling great about tomorrow and that I am so happy I got to learn from you this past few months. You've given so much and I know how much you care. You probably don't realize how much you have helped my heart heal during my grieving just by caring so much and helping me to pursue this running adventure. I am immensely grateful. I'll update you as soon as I can after the race. Sending love!"

"I have known Megan for years, but as a coach, for the last three years. She has coached me through running two 1/2 marathons. I have type 1, insulin dependent Diabetes and she was a great resource for training. She helped me find my balance between running, my health, and life. I loved the organization of her plans and the way it was easy to communicate back and forth. I am looking forward to training again with her in the near future."
"Just really happy about these 18 miles (wish the fall didn't happen😁). Felt good the whole time, even after the fall. I was a bit apprehensive after, but knew I could finish it. Honestly this training cycle is the only time that I've actually run ALL the miles (no walking/stopping in between). So this training is a win for me regardless of how the marathons go😉 I really think all of that is your doing ❤❤❤❤ Really giving me a plan that doesn't defeat me before I try it. All of it has been challenging but not intimidating so I go out believing that I can ❤❤❤"
